Strawberry Cheesecake Oatmeal

  • 10½ cups water
  • 1 t. salt
  • 6 cups Quaker® Kettle Hearty™ oats
  • Cream cheese, to taste
  • Strawberry slices, to taste

METHOD: In large heavy saucepan, bring water and salt to a brisk boil. Stir in oats; return to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand, covered, or transfer to steam table pan and cover. Let stand 30 minutes or until all liquid absorbed. Hold on steam table on medium up to 3 hours. Add cream cheese and strawberry slices as desired. Serve 1-cup portions.
